Implementing new learning solutions can be a bit overwhelming. Romar Learning Solutions has a proven 5-step process to help clients easily implement results-driven upskilling:

1. Discovery

For organizations questioning whether it’s time to invest in results-driven upskilling, there are a few telltale signs. Underdeveloped skills impact productivity, morale, and efficiency. Teams with underdeveloped skills often struggle to meet performance expectations. Nurturing employees’ existing skills with results-driven upskilling supports organizational success.

The first step in implementing results-driven upskilling is discovery. In the discovery phase identify needs. What skills need nurturing and how? What does the organization wish to achieve with results-driven upskilling?

2. Development

Implementing new adult learning solutions requires strategy and thought. Begin by creating a detailed design and allowing the stakeholders to review and revise it. Ultimately, stakeholders are more familiar with their unique needs and what would work best for their team. After the design phase create a first draft. The development phase allows the stakeholder to customize their solution, which is key to creating an engaging program.

3. Pilot

The pilot phase of implementation involves refining the learning solution. Once the stakeholders have reviewed and revised the initial draft, they will pilot the training with targeted learners to gain feedback and discuss additional changes. During this training, collaborate with the stakeholders to finalize the solution before proceeding with implementation.

4. Implementation

After identifying the stakeholder’s needs, drafting a solution, and refining that solution, it’s time for launch! Ideally, before organization-wide implementation begins, the stakeholders’ trainers and leadership will complete the program. Then you might launch the training for the stakeholders or train their trainers to deliver it.

5. Final Files

Once all stakeholders approve the learning solution, provide final files for implementation.

Summary

When a new program  meets learners where they are and allows them to take charge of their own learning, they will become more confident and motivated in their roles. Furthermore, employees will meet/exceed performance expectations, generating more revenue for the organization. More important, they will remain loyal to the organization that invested in their growth and development!
